from SailorMoon S Professor Tomoe Professor Tomoe Souichi was once a good man. He's the father of the young Hotaru (aka Sailor Saturn). But he was corrupted by evil (Pharoah 90) and became the leader of the Death Busters. His goal was to find the Holy Grail so he could conquer the Earth and make it dark and silent. He had many lovely assistants to help him with his goal... Kaolinite, the Witches Five and eventually Mistress Nine. He would hang around his laboratory and make daimon eggs for his assistants, who would use them to find the three talismans. They needed the talismans in order to get the Holy Grail. Even after the Holy Grail has been found (made, formed?) he still needs to wreak havoc on Earth. Another goal of his is to make his daughter the Messiah of Silence. In order to do that, he needs heart crystals that are located in the pure hearts of unsuspecting humans. The "last battle" has the evil alien entity that had taken over Tomoe's body, Pharoah 90, destroyed. Tomoe who had been turned back to good a battle or two before was again able to take care of his child... Hotaru, who had "unaged" back to an infant.
Mistress 9 Mistress Nine, the Dark Messiah, is actually an evil adult version of Hotaru aka Sailor Saturn (think Chibi Usa and Black Lady). Like her father, Hotaru's body has been taken over by an evil alien force. Hotaru became Mistress Nine after swallowing Chibi Usa's heart crystal. After her father, Professor Tomoe, had been "defeated" and turned good again. Mistress Nine was on her own. It's his pleading for his daughter that helps her turn back into Hotaru... however instead of a happy reunion, she dissappears. Later, she shows up in the "last battle" against Pharaoh 90 and helps defeat it. After the battle, she is turned back into a baby.
Kaolinite The busty Kaolinite was Professor Tomoe's assistant. Her goal was the same as the Professor's... to get the three talismans and find the Holy Grail. She helped him make the daimon eggs in order to find the talismans. She's the first to go to Earth and search for the talismans. Targeting anyone she thought had a pure heart... which meant all the senshi were definately on her hit list. Eventually Kaolinite fights the senshi and it ends with Kaolinite "dying". But she soon mysteriosly shows up again... only to be killed off for sure by Mistress Nine. I think Kaolinite is cool... sexy and evil. She reminds me a lot of Emerald in that way. A great villainess
Eudial After Kaolinite had failed (for the first time), and had seemed to be gone for good... it's up to the Witches Five to assist Professor Tomoe in his evil mission. The first of those lovely young ladies is Eudial. Like Kaolinite, they have to look for "pure hearts" in order to retrieve heart crystals... watch out senshi! Eudial is pretty cool in the way that she does it... she uses her bazooka-like tool that takes the heart crystal out of the person rather easily. Eudial has a showdown with Sailor's Uranus and Neptune... by this time, Eudial knows the identities of all the senshi from a battle they had earlier. During her encounter with Uranus and Neptune, it is discovered that they are two of the three talisman carriers. Eventually, the other senshi arrive and it so happens, Sailor Pluto is the third carrier, the most coveted Holy Grail is then formed, turning Sailor Moon into Super Sailor Moon. Having failed in her latest encouter with the senshi, Eudial makes a run for it in her car... only to have her breaks fail (thank to a meddeling Mimete). She bites the dust going over the highway into the ocean.
Mimete Mimete was the second of the Witches Five to go to work. She had sabotaged Eudial's car to ensure that. Now that the Holy Grail has been formed, Mimete's reason for getting heart crystals is different than Eudial's. Mimete needs to get them in order to give Hotaru the energy from the heart crystals so that she can become the Messiah of Silence, like her father want's her to. While doing this, Mimete preffered good-looking young men as her victims (good call). With her last encounter with the senshi, Mimete "electionically absorbes" herself into a huge television, however, her threat to the senshi dies (as does she) when Tellu pulls the plug on the enourmous TV.
Tellu Tellu, was the third of the Witches Five that we met, after she killed Mimete. But too bad for Tellu, she doesn't last very long... only one episode. Tellu's stratagy is a little different than the one's before her. She decides she can get a whole bunch of heart crystals on one go, by using special plants of hers. Bad idea. It doesn't work... and she ends up being defeated by some of the senshi and Tuxedo Kamen. With Tellu's demise, she does leave an important clue... a student ID for the high-tech school, Infinity Academy. It just so happens that Professor Tomoe owns it.
Villuy The fourth Witch is Viluy. Like Tellu, she only lasts for one episode. She goes undercover as a student at Professor Tome's Infinity Academy. She used her computer to retrieve heart crystals. She's really into computers and electronics... I've read that she is infact a computer chip herself, not really a woman. Eventually, Sailor Moon ends up destroying Viluy.
Cyprine/Ptilol Even though they are two women, the twins Cyprine and Ptilol do count as one... making them the fifth of the Witches Five. Cyprine has the blue hair and Ptilol has the red hair. Cyprine is basically the main Witch, but Ptilol is very important to the mix. The two end up destroying each other with their own attacks, when the senshi trick them. Thus putting an end to all the Witches Five, leaving them at Witches Zero.
